Highlights From The Geneva Auto Show

Yup the 2007 Geneva Auto Show is here, and all the buzz is on. I bet you are all wondering which car get all the attention. Well wonder no more just look below.

This is the new concept car from BWM. It is the 2008 M3. This is something unusual for BWM because they didn't expect to get that much attention at this year's auto show. So this years Geneva Auto Show has some competition. The race now is between the Lexus IS-F and the BMW M3. Check out the Lexus IS-F below.


In my opinion there is no comparison. When it comes to German cars you can't have competition. The M3 is one of the most reliable cars and also it happens to be one of the best sports cars. How many other cars combine these two things together. The M3 is a car that you can see a rich suburban mom drive and at the same time a spoiled teenager that wants to be a racer. I don't think that any other car can have such broad audience. That is all I can say, and if you think something different let me know in the form of a comment!

Buying Your First Ride.

This post is directed to all the people that plan on buying a car anytime soon, whether that is your first car or your tenth car. I believe that we all have something to learn so read on and learn.
The first thing you need to know when buying a car is what you are going to use the car for. If you are a teenager in high school and you want to buy a car first think about it. Are you going to use your car for something other then going to school, if not then why even buy a car. If you are going to use your ride to go to school and back, just consider the expenses that you will have to meet. First you need to save money to buy a car, but lets say that your parents are cool and they buy you car.
Insurance
Now you have to worry about insurance. Although there are some insurance companies that claim to give you good deals, you get what you paid for. Make sure that before you sign a contract with the first insurance company that you see you do some research. It will be great if you got some quotes from some websites and also if you called a few of the companies and asked for insurance over the phone. One thing that I can tell you right now is that if this is the firs time you are getting insured prepare some big bucks. If you are between the ages of 16 and 20 and you are a guy your insurance will be trough the roof. One thing that you can do to prevent that is to get listed on your parents policy which will save you some money, but it will still be pretty expensive.
Gas
Assuming that you have enough money to pay for your insurance you now have to think about gas. If you are on a budget you might want to seriously think about this one. Just look at gas prices and you will see what I mean. I am not trying to say that you shouldn't buy a car because gas is expensive, but what I am saying is that you should consider when to use your car and when to take the bus. One really creative thing that people do is give rides to their buddies and take there bus fare. That works great for both parties because your friend get a ride from their house to school and you get some compensation for the gas that you waste. These are some of the ideas that I can give you on how to spend less on gas and how to get more "bank for your buck"
Pimping Out Your Car
There is a reason why I put this section last. That is because tricking your car out should be the last thing on your mind. If you have money left over after all the expenses that you have to cover, then you should think about buying the 24" chrome rims, or the lambo doors from e-bay. What I trying to say is that you will look foolish if you save up $ 1000 to buy chrome rims and not even get to ride them because you don't have money for gas.
Conclusion
